As a recipient of the Great Streets Community Challenge Grant, Reseda Blvd will be partnering with the Great Streets Initiative to further its potential as a vibrant public space along a major corridor in the San Fernando Valley by bringing arts back to the street!

This project is the partnership of the City of Los Angeles, Northridge Chamber of Commerce, the Northridge South Neighborhood Council, Northridge Vision, Northridge Sparkle, California State University Northridge, The Museum of the San Fernando Valley and Council District 12.

  • FLEX on ResedaFlex Furniture

The project proposal includes custom designed and constructed FLEX FURNITURE pieces that are collapsible and modular so that they can alternately be used for the backdrop for a street theatre performance, a temporary art gallery display space, movie screen, or to provide a small space for a local pop-up business or product demonstration.

[Re]cap of [Re]visit [Re]seda Blvd.

On Thursday July 30th, over 500 community members came together on the newly designated Great Street, Reseda Blvd, to celebrate completed street renovations by partaking in an art walk and scavenger hunt put together by the [Re]visit [Re]seda Blvd team including: local business and artists, Northridge Chamber of Commerce, Northridge South Neighborhood Council, California State University, Northridge, Northridge Sparkle, LA Mas, The Museum of the San Fernando Valley and Council District 12.

Come celebrate the many enhancements made on The First Great Street in Los Angeles, RESEDA BOULEVARD!

6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
at Reseda Blvd., from Nordhoff Street to Parthenia Street in Northridge
Check in on the North-West Corner of Reseda Blvd and Rayen Street.

This event is a partnership project with Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitchell Englander, Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Great Streets Studio, LA Mas, Northridge Sparkle, Northridge Chamber of Commerce, Northridge South Neighborhood Council and the many businesses along Reseda Blvd.

Together, REvisit REseda Blvd will highlight the unique businesses along Reseda Blvd., through a fun scavenger hunt and will also showcase local artists and artwork. There will be food, art activities and prizes for those participating in the scavenger hunt.

We also encourage attendees to bring your bikes and try out the first parking-protected bike lanes on Reseda Blvd. Free bike rental station will also be available onsite.
